Fuel for the Fire: An Event I Will Never Forget

There are moments in life that you wish you could pause… just to take it all in.

This month, I experienced one of those moments.

As I stood in a room filled with more than 60 women—smiling, laughing, embracing one another, I realized that Fuel for the Fire had become more than just an event. It had become a space where women could show up as they are and leave reminded of who they are.

From the very beginning, the atmosphere was filled with something special. You could feel it in the room. The conversations were genuine, the energy was uplifting, and the connections were real. Women from different walks of life came together, yet in so many ways, our stories were connected.

We were blessed with guest speakers who didn’t just speak, they shared. They were authentic, transparent, and full of encouragement. Their words poured into the hearts of every woman in that room, reminding us that growth, healing, and purpose are still within reach, no matter where you are in life.

As I watched, I saw more than faces. I saw strength. I saw resilience. I saw women quietly reminding themselves, “I still have something left in me.”

And truthfully, I saw myself.

Because I know what it feels like to walk through life carrying challenges, being a teenage mother, surviving domestic violence, navigating life as a single parent, facing financial hardship, and most recently, overcoming breast cancer. Those experiences could have broken me, but instead, they built me. They taught me that no matter what we face…

🔥 The fire within us never goes out, it just needs to be fueled.

That afternoon, as we shared food, laughter, and meaningful conversations, something powerful was happening. Walls were coming down. Confidence was rising. Purpose was being reignited.

And just when the afternoon felt like it had already given so much… there was one final moment I had been holding close to my heart.

The surprise.

With excitement and gratitude, I had the opportunity to officially unveil my 3-part mini-series, Motivational Expressions journals. This was more than a product launch; it was a personal milestone. A reflection of my journey, my voice, and my commitment to helping others express, reflect, and grow. To share that moment in a room filled with women who understood the power of finding your voice… it meant everything. That was the final spark of the evening. And in that moment, I knew… that it was only the beginning. As I reflect on the day, one thing remains clear:

We all carry something inside of us, dreams, ideas, purpose—that is waiting for the right moment, the right space, and sometimes the right people to bring it back to life.

So, as you read this, I leave you with this:

What is still burning inside of you? What have you been holding onto? What would happen if you gave yourself permission to move forward?

You are not behind. You are not forgotten. You are not finished.

🔥 You are becoming.

And whatever is inside of you—it’s still there. It’s still possible. It’s still yours.

Keep going. Keep believing. Keep fueling your fire.

With love and purpose,
